Here are a few of the nearly 100 pictures I snapped during the glacier tour out of Whittier, Alaska.

The happy couple takes in the scenery (and a couple of drinks).

One of the dozens of sea otter posses we encountered during our cruise. Boy are they fun to watch!

Harbor seals hanging out on a piece of glacier ice. They come this far to have their pups in safety. The orca whale's skin isn't tough enough to withstand gashing from the glacier ice - sissies!

Barry Glacier - a tidewater glacier (see below for description).

Surprise Glacier is a tidewater glacier (since it extends to the sea) and is also a growing glacier (forming faster than it is receding)..

A gin & tonic on the "glacier" rocks. Don't try chewing this ice!
